# Go J-1

> Go J-1 is a J-1 visa sponsorship service operated by the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (GACC NY), providing Exchange Visitor visa sponsorship for international students, graduates, and apprentices seeking professional experience in the United States. In operation since 1996, Go J-1 supports Intern and Trainee visa categories across all 50 states, with particular expertise in the German-speaking market (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).

Go J-1 handles the full J-1 visa sponsorship lifecycle: registration, document review, DS-2019 issuance, SEVIS registration, ongoing compliance, and post-arrival support. Applicants must have a confirmed US host company before registering. The service is bilingual (English/German) and includes a dedicated case manager, 24/7 emergency hotline, and virtual intercultural orientation.
